At 6:30 this morning we got picked up in the van and went all the way to the hospital. Dr Kumar did the tests and found a blockage on the right side of Randy's neck. He did the procedure and Randy said he could immediately feel a rush into his right foot. His hands and feet are warm for the first time in years. He's losing the tingling in his hands and the feeling is starting to come back. He was so happy with the results.
The Doctor is really great and so is the hospital. I have a lot of confidence in him and the hospital is very clean and well maintained, but packed to the rafters with people. Everyone is so kind and caring. Even the hospital administrator was there to greet us. It is a whole different system over here.
Randy gets out of the hospital tomorrow morning. We are waiting to see how he does when he gets here and we will keep you posted.

We're here!
We finally made it! We've been having some internet issues and haven't been able to load pictures, but we'll keep trying.
We arrived Sunday night after a long long flight. Thank goodness for a lovely lady in Newark who got us seats together at the front. The ones where you have to pay for money for the extra leg room. I was able to get up and stretch and move around a lot. Thank goodness because we were packed in like sardines.
The hotel is beautiful and we are treated like royalty. New Delhi is amazing and indescribable. Ryan and Lynne took a train to see if they could find a place to shop. Ryan with his blond hair and Lynne with her Gilligan hat stuck out like a sore thumb. They managed to get scammed out of about 1000 ruppies (about 25 dollars) and came back to the hotel in a taxi. Next trip out will be arranged by the hotel!

We're on our way. Our bags are packed and we're on our way to Saskatoon. The plane leaves at 7:00 tomorrow morning. We have to be at the airport at 4:30! We arrive in India at 8:15 PM Sunday. Yikes! Hope there's someone there to meet us.
We have a lot of people to thank when we return. We never would have been able to do this without the help of all of our wonderful friends, family and some Prince Albert businesses. Here We Go!

It's getting closer!
We're counting down the days now. We leave September 25th from Saskatoon. We fly Saskatoon to Chicago, Chicago to Newark and finally after all that, a fourteen hour flight to New Delhi! We leave 7:00 Saturday morning and arrive Sunday night at 8:30. Yikes! I have an appointment with Dr. Kumar on September 29th. Wish me Luck!
I can never thank all the people enough that have made this possible for me. Thank God for friends, family and community minded business people. I owe a debt I can never repay.

Our First Fund Raiser
On Saturday morning bright and early we opened for business. We were at the McNeilly farm in Shell Lake for a gigantic garage sale. Lot's of wonderful people had donated lots of great things to sell and business was brisk! Many thanks to everyone who came out and supported our sale and helped to make it a great success.
Our next fund raiser is going to be benefit concert in Saskatoon with the wonderful Jeff Straker, who has generously agreed to donate his time and talent, as well other great performers. The concert is Aug 21st at Christ Church Anglican located on the corner of 28th St W and Ave E. Doors open at 7:00 and admission is $20.00. Lunch is potluck. See you there!
