On August 21st, about 75 people gathered at Christ Church Anglican for a fantastic benefit concert with Barbara Clanchy as MC. Cornerstone (a very cool rock band) made it's debut. Many thanks to Bruce, Diane, Sean, Ted, and Darren. We had the wonderful and talented Jeff Straker and his incredibly Handsome Strangers do a set. Darren did a beautiful solo and Judy did a rendition of "Hallelujah" which was a special request by Randy. Bruce and Judy also did a very comical duet. The evening was topped off by Taiko Drummers. Fantastic! Everybody sang "Get by With a Little Help From My Friends" dedicated to us, and that's exactly what we're doing. Thank God for all of our family and friends. This concert would not have been possible and such a success without the help of all the people who organized it and many kind people who donated money and items for auction. Your kindness will never be forgotten.
